Welcome to my blog. A place for me to share my love of cardmaking, scrapbooking and bug covers with all my friends. Take a look around and see what I have been creating. I am a member of the Cricut MB, it is almost an addiction ;) I love designing and making cards, dabble in scrapbooking and make the original reversible covers for all types of crafting gadgets.
That's right we have received another prize donation for the Swarm bewing held in Australia August 27th - 30th I would like to say a big thank you to Boo for her prize donation.
That's right folks yet another Swarm prize is here. A big thank you to JC (Jenny) for her prize donation for our Swarm. Customs had opened up this package, and one of the wrapped parcels inside. Seeing what was inside the parcel I kind of know why they might have done so, very funny LOL
A very big thank you to the three very generous ladies that we received Swarm prizes from in the last two days. Scrappydoo2 (Debbie) Terrikrafts (Terri) Bijou17 (Sue) Between them they sent us a bundles of prizes to make the Aussie Swarm are really fun one, so give a big round of applause for them and everyone else that has helped us out so far.
I love making word books and here is my latest one. It is for a friend of mine who is celebrating her 30th tomorrow. Carts used are Don Juan and George & Basic shapes. The design was created using the Cricut Design software. The book measures 29 cm (11") x 14 cm (5 1/2") not including the ribbon I also covered a marker to match the book. Hope you like it.
Some of you know that there are font cartridges in the Cricut range of cartridges, but did you know that there are other cartridges that have font sets on them. There are shape, licensed and Class Mate cartridges and some of these cartridges also have font sets on them. I went through all my 82 cartridges and came up with 153 different styles of font sets that I have at my disposal. WOW that is a lot to choose from, but how do I know what styles I have and how the different fonts compare size wise. I came up with the idea to cut out the letter J, my first initial from each of the font sets, what was I thinking. This job took me 2 days to complete. First to find the cartridges which have font sets, get out the cartridges and keyboard overlays. Decide on the paper, I went for an A4 plain green card, load the mat and cut away. Then add adhesive and stick on to plain white sheets and place in my folder. Here is the end result. Hope you find them useful.

A big thank you to Cindy (Craftybird-Cindy) for her prize donation. It looks a bit strange, but is it really? Watch this space and all will be revealed. Cindy also sent a pack of chocolates, and a very funny Jester hat, which we will have a very funny use for.
